Applying Physics To Rugby
The world could not work without physics, neither can the game of rugby. There is more to the sport than the game itself. Every action made in rugby is applied by physics and can be calculated in various ways. Throughout this site we will be talking about Kinematics, Dynamics/Kinetics and Energy/Work-Power and how it relates to the game of rugby.
The first page will be displaying how kinematics can relate to both a ball being thrown from a rugby pass and the conversion kick in the sport of rugby. The second page will be displaying how dynamics/kinetics can relate to a rugby scrum and the rugby tackle. The third page will be relating Energy/Work-Power to the high speed running in a rugby game. The last page will break down the use of the rugby ball and the physics behind it.
